The most complete boat in the range
The Flying Shark 7.7 Classic is the only Flying Shark with a cabin, and the specification — double berth, concealed heads, skylight, fridge, audio — makes it a credible weekender for two rather than a day boat with a locker. The semi-planing hull is a sensible choice for an electric flagship, since it stays efficient at moderate speed instead of demanding full power to stay on the plane. At €99,500 it competes with established Dutch and Scandinavian electric cruisers, and it offers more accommodation than most of them at the length.
Where the numbers do not add up
Treat the drivetrain figures with caution. A 10 kWh pack with a 10 kW motor is very small for a 1,350 kg, 7.7-metre boat, and it sits awkwardly against the builder's own claim of up to 100 km of electric range. Those two statements are difficult to reconcile; the most likely explanation is that the range figure refers to a larger optional pack. Ask VTS Boats which battery the 100 km applies to, and price that battery.
Other caveats
Beam is published inconsistently, at 2.49 m and 2.55 m — a small discrepancy, but it matters for berth and trailer width. Performance is quoted in km/h and hours, never knots or nautical miles. VTS builds the same hull with combustion power, so confirm the drivetrain on the contract.
